Amanda Anderson has a favorite quote from the writer and poet Maya Angelou that informs her approach to client service: “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Her aim is “to create an environment where clients are delighted and feel valued.”

“My life’s passion is being at the nexus of business and society,” says Amanda. Amanda’s education was focused on managing resources in a sustainable way and “doing good.” Her volunteerism has been focused on educating less-privileged entrepreneurs about how to start businesses that can set them up for a better life, and her professional life has been spent making financial services operations run smoothly.

“Being able to serve our Ascent clients brings all of my experience and passion together. Our clients have the desire make the world a better place and I’m honored to help them make it happen.”

With more than 20 years’ experience in the financial sector, Amanda manages products and services tailored to the needs of ultra-high net worth families. She has responsibility for product and service strategy, business project management, regional and national coordination, and financial planning and analysis. Her role further includes matrix supervision of all Managing Directors of Client Experience and Specialized Fiduciary Services with the goal of achieving exemplary execution on behalf of Ascent’s clients.

Amanda is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, earning her Bachelor of Science with Distinction in Environmental Science. She completed her Master of Business Administration with a focus in sustainability at Yale University.
